DASHA Wellness Supports the D.R.E.A.M.
/Where did 2011 go? They say time flies when you're having fun and we have truly enjoyed the experience of connecting with you via our blog. The time has come for our final post of the year. We like to save the best for last; making her debut appearance on the D.R.E.A.M. blog we introduce Ashley Rudolph, our Chief of Business Development. The D.R.E.A.M. Team would like to wish you a Happy New Year! May 2012 be a prosperous, joyful year. Cheers!
The launch of our "Invest-in-Success" program has opened the door for many exciting partnerships! Two weeks ago we announced our official partnership with the ING Direct Cafe, the host of our 2011-2012 program. Today we'd like to highlight the generosity of the team at DASHA Wellness, who will be sponsoring two weeks of healthy lunches for our students.
Located in Midtown Manhattan, DASHA Wellness was founded by Dr. Darren (DA) Pollack and Shannon (SHA) Pollack with one very honorable mission: to bridge the connection between mind and body for optimal well-being. This holistic approach to health and well-being is almost always necessary given the adverse effects a fast-paced New York City lifestyle can have on the body. Their clients enjoy a range of services including Acupuncture, Agility Training, Body Treatments, Chiropractic Services, Cosmetic Enhancements, Cupping, Massage Therapy, Pilates, Personal Training, Physical Therapy, Personal Coaching and Reiki. We admire DASHA's commitment to giving back to their community, having worked with organizations like St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Ronald McDonald House Charities, and American Cancer Society amongst others. Their contribution to D.R.E.A.M. is especially relevant to our cause given the alarming childhood obesity rates that plague urban youth (our target demographic).
The team at DASHA supports D.R.E.A.M. wholeheartedly stating, "We are so excited to have the opportunity to provide lunches that nourish the bodies and fuel the brains of the youth taking part in this invaluable program!"
Interested in keeping up with the happenings at DASHA? You can read more about what the team is up to on their blog, follow them on Twitter, or tune in to DashaTV on YouTube for insightful videos!
Thank you DASHA Wellness from the D.R.E.A.M. Team and the students of the "Invest-in-Success" Class of 2014!
