We at D.R.E.A.M. are relentless in our mission to share the knowledge of investing and prudent financial management, especially in communities that traditionally have been under-invested when compared to society at large. With that, it is our belief that getting our youth interested in investing at a younger age will have a positive, long-term benefit to these respective communities.

On June 16th, 2018 in New York City, D.R.E.A.M. hosted the 2018 Invest in Success Stock Pitch Competition. Our hallmark competition is a capstone project for year two of the Invest in Success program. The objective of the competition is for scholars to employ their knowledge of the capital markets and build a stock portfolio that generates returns that beats their peers.

Please join us in congratulating the co-winners from this year’s competition – Kailen Mayfield (Eagle Academy, Bronx, NY) and Jeremiah Hillaire (Fieldston School, Bronx, NY). Each scholar delivered an excellent presentation displaying their knowledge of individual stocks to a panel of judges. In conjunction with the victory, each scholar will receive a cash prize that it is to be used exclusively to initiate their individual investing journeys.

We would like to extend a big thank you to our all-star panel of judges for volunteering their time on an early Saturday morning. The event could not have been a success without each of you.
